WHO IS MARJAN BADIEE?

Hometown: Khorramabad, Iran
Age: 43
Occupation: Arquitect
Education: Architectural Drafting

Marjan Badiee was born in Khorramabad and moved to Greater Tehran at the age of eight, where she grew up and completed most of her education. Today she lives in Tehran with her husband, Arash Rahmani Farzin, and is the mother of a 13-year-old daughter, Andia.

Her life has been shaped by creativity, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. She built her professional path in architecture from the ground up—starting with high school studies in Tehran and then completing her training in Architectural Drafting in Isfahan. Since then, she has spent her entire career in the architecture field, dedicating herself to bringing ideas, structures, and transformations into reality.

A CRAFT ROOTED IN EARLY PASSION

Marjan’s love for architectural drafting began long before she stepped into a classroom. As a child, she visited her father’s office and watched an engineer drawing plans. That single moment—quiet, precise, deliberate—sparked a fascination that never faded.

Even today, she can work ten hours straight without losing energy. The satisfaction comes from the same place it did in her childhood: seeing an idea become a structure, and seeing a line on paper become a building in the real world.

She has worked with property owners, attorneys, and clients of all ages, helping them modify or redesign their homes and spaces. For her, the excitement is always the same: creating change and watching it come to life.

Beyond the technical work, Marjan values the human side of her profession. She connects easily with clients, listens attentively to their needs, and finds joy in satisfying different tastes. Many clients ultimately become friends—relationships that outlast any project. Kindness, empathy, and genuine communication are not optional in her work; they are part of her identity.

A HEART FOR PEOPLE

Marjan does not follow role models, nor does she mold herself after others. Her north star is simple: be kind, cause no harm, and leave people with good memories, not bitterness.

This approach, which she has carried since childhood, shapes both her personal and professional interactions. She believes that every person deserves respect and empathy—and that real impact comes from how we treat others, not what we achieve on paper.

HER JOURNEY OF FAITH

On January 15, 2023, Marjan publicly gave her life to Jesus Christ. Since then, she has been deeply devoted to her church community, attending daily prayers and classes and pursuing spiritual growth with discipline and sincerity.

Living in a Muslim-majority country presents real limitations. She cannot openly practice or perform her duties without risking consequences. Even so, she shares God’s word quietly but boldly, offering the message of salvation to those around her whenever she can.

Her faith reshaped her worldview:

  • before God, all people are equal;

  • no one is superior or inferior;

  • guidance must be given with kindness and justice;

  • no one should harm others to gain status or respect.

This lens drives how she treats people, how she communicates, and how she teaches.

A MINISTRY BUILT ON TEACHING

A few months after coming to faith, God appointed Marjan—through her pastor, Dytaan Carter—to serve as a teacher.

Every week, she interprets and teaches one of God’s promises online to the congregation, grounding each lesson in Scripture.

Architecture taught her how to shape beauty on paper. Ministry teaches her how to shape beauty in the soul.
She sees God’s word as a structure that forms within us—strong, steady, transformative—and she finds deep joy in watching spiritual change the same way she watches a building rise from a blueprint.

Her mission is clear:

  • to teach people to love one another, so that God may love them;

  • to guide others toward righteousness;

  • and to ensure no one stands before God having neglected their responsibility to help another.

Because to her, we are all members of the body of Christ—responsible for building each other up.
